Our names are Chris and Sonja Johnson. Our personal journeys have led us here, to co-found Gaia Fitness.

The mission of Gaia Fitness is to help as many people as we can to reach their ultimate potential. This means moving toward happiness/enlightenment/consciousness through the body, mind and spirit.

Sonja Johnson

For over 20 years, Sonja has been passionate about health and fitness. Her approach is a holistic one, focusing on all areas including exercise, flexibility, nutrition and lifestyle. Her mission is to help people achieve their personal goals and become the best version of themselves. Sonja implements lifestyle changes that can be maintained long term and, eventually, independently. Sonja is a certified holistic nutritionist, registered nutrition counselor, reflexologist, and yoga teacher. She has also competed at the highest national level of physique competition in the bikini division. Sonja recently received a diploma from the Spirit Yoga Foundation for studies in Meditation, Yoga and Ayurveda.

Chris believes a healthy spirit is intrinsically dependent upon a healthy mind and body. The proper balance of nutrition, exercise, and spiritual training leads to true health and happiness. He has studied nutrition for nearly 30 years. His quest for spiritual growth has led him to both the Peruvian and Himalayan mountains. Chris Johnson is an IFBB professional physique athlete, holistic nutritionist, certified personal trainer, contest prep and lifestyle coach and is the CEO of the supplement company, Advanced Genetics. He has a diploma from the Spirit Yoga Foundation for studies in Meditation, Yoga and Ayurveda.
